Helping Others
Included in the "seven purposes of our church"
are both 'Missions' & 'Evangelism.'
At T.C.A.S.H. (The Church At Sterchi Hills) we define these two purposes separately.
Evangelism:
Is when members from our church ‘go out’ to draw others ‘back into’ our church, by sharing our faith, our testimonies and inviting to our church, with the intention of assimilation and discipleship at TCASH.
Missions:
Is when members from our church (sometimes partnered with other churches), 'go out' into the community and beyond to minister to others with the message of the gospel and/or acts of service 'without' the intention of drawing them back to TCASH.
Rather connecting them to a church where they would better assimilate and be discipled. Our intention is not to just grow our church, but for God to grow His Kingdom, through our missions.
