1. What time should I arrive?
It's best to arrive 15 minutes before the service starts on Sundays: 9:15 for 9:30am Sunday School; 10:15 for 10:30am Worship; 5:45 for 6pm Evening Service or Wednesdays: 5:30 for 5:45pm Dinner, 6:15 for 6:30pm Bible Study. This way our greeters can answer any questions and direct you to where you need to go with time to spare. You could also get a chance to get a feel for the church before we begin.


2. Where should I park?
There are designated 'Visitor Parking' spots for guests of our church closest to the building. You may park there until you feel like part of the family, which should take long at all...perhaps evening after your first visit.

3. What should I wear?
We don't have a dress code at our church. Most of our members dress for comfort (both physically & emotionally). So if you're more comfortable dressing up or wearing shorts, you'll certainly find an even balance of casual, smart casual and formally dressed attendees. Take your pick, you'll fit right in!

At The Church at Sterchi Hills we believe in the safety and security of all our children. That is why anyone who has anything to do with children at our church has to undergo an annual background check.
As you get to the front door, the greeter will show you exactly where to go for each age group. Your have several choices, see below...

Nursery: We have a nursery for parents to 'sign-in'/'sign-out' your children or you may stay in the nursery with your baby if you'd prefer. We have the services broadcast onto the Nursery Television.

Cry-room: If you need your space or privacy to nurse or have a wiggly baby, you may choose to sit in our 'cry-room.' A private room with a comfy sofa and pack-n-play. The service is broadcast onto the Television in the cry-room.

Pre-School:  We have wonderful teachers in our pre-school department. Each child must be signed in and signed out by the same parent/guardian. Kids in this department are not just babysat. They have a age-appropriate curriculum with wonderful teachers and leaders for both Sunday School and Worship time.

Elementary: Again, we have wonderful teachers in our upstairs Elementary department. As with all our departments each child must be signed in and signed out by the same parent/guardian.  Elementary kids spend the full Sunday School time (9:30-10:20am) upstairs, yet during Worship time (10:30-11:30am) Elementary aged kids join their parents/guardians in the Worship Center for the fist 30 minutes of the service, before exiting to their own age-appropriate class.

Youth: Our Youth meet upstairs in the "Youth room" for Sunday School (9:30-10:20am). We have a great team of Youth Sunday School teachers who follow the "TEEN SUNDAY SCHOOL PLACE" curriculum. It is Expository Bible Study with lots of activities and application to make learning fun. Our Youth join in the Worship Service with the Adults at 10:30-11:30am.
